Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is dedicated to providing engaging, historically accurate resources to support student learning. Along with programming that takes place at Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, there are several opportunities for students to explore early Virginia and United States history virtually.
Field Trips
Whatever the age level or interest of your group, the combination of gallery exhibits and living history at Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is ideal. The museums are wonderfully suited for group visits, choose a guided or self-guided tour.
Virtual Learning
Virtual learning programs provide students the opportunity to learn with a Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation educator through Zoom or your classroom’s virtual learning platform. The program is perfect for classes unable to travel to the museums or participate in Virginia outreach programs.

Classroom Outreach
Classrooms in Virginia can benefit from in-person visits from Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation educators, who guide students in our inquiry-based educational programs. The hour-long outreach programs support the Virginia Standards of Learning and offer related teaching resources.
