A prelude to Juneteenth - American celebration marking end of slavery in United States

Interludes of song by Sylvia Tabb Lee & the Rejoicing Singers and dramatic readings from primary sources performed by Dale Heiskill will complement the evening.

Admission to Juneteenth programming the evening of June 14 and museum admission on June 19, the official Juneteenth holiday, is free for all. Registration is encouraged to attend the June 14 evening program.
