The public is invited to attend the unveiling of a community art project titled “Cultural Pillar: Reign Trinity” in Jamestown Settlement's Ferguson Lobby on Saturday, January 20 at 3 p.m.

The sculpture was created during a 2023 Reign & Rebellion special exhibition program at Jamestown Settlement by artist Steve Prince, with artistic contributions from over 80 museum visitors. The free-standing, three-sided sculpture represents the three cultures that converged at Jamestown in the early 17th century - Powhatan, English and West Central African.

Prince will share reflections about his inspiration for the creation of the piece. The event is free and open to the public.
