Premiere Showing of Liberty Fever

Join a 19th-century storyteller as he shares firsthand accounts of the American Revolution that he has gathered traveling the countryside.
Military Music Performance
10:30 a.m., 1:00 & 3:00 p.m. in the Continental Army encampment
Grab a seat and enjoy a variety of tunes once heard on the battlefield of Yorktown. Field Musick Virginia performs Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday. The Fifes and Drums of York Town perform at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Artillery Demonstration
11:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. in the Continental Army encampment
Join the artillery crew and learn firsthand about the importance of artillery during the Siege of Yorktown. Then cover your ears as the 18th-century crew fires the weapon!
Homespun on the Home Front
11:30 a.m. in the Revolution-era farmhouse
Homespun clothing was both a necessity and a patriotic statement during the war. Try your hand at some of the different aspects of turning plant fibers into cloth.
From Field to Table
12:30 p.m. in the Revolution-era farm kitchen
Lend a hand with the preparation of the midday meal, and see if your table manners would pass in the 18th century.
Reading of the Articles of Capitulation
