Visit our Honeybee Pop-up Shop
Buzz by our Honeybee Pop-up Shop! In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of honeybees in Virginia, the Museum Gift Shops are displaying a special selection of honeybee-themed gifts and products. European honeybees most familiar to people today are not native to North America. Honeybees first landed on this continent in 1622, when the Virginia Company of London sent a ship carrying the first beehives.
The pop-up shop opened in early March in the Great Hall at Jamestown Settlement but sweet, bee-utiful items can be found at both of the Museum Gift Shops.
