WILLIAMSBURG, Va., September 16, 2016 – Carole Moore of Williamsburg has joined the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation as human resources manager, with responsibility for staff recruitment and retention, classification and compensation, benefit administration, and employee relations. The Foundation is a Virginia state agency that administers Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center history museums.
Ms. Moore previously served as talent acquisition consultant and human resources generalist for eight years at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and developed and managed recruiting programs for Telect and Itron technology companies. She graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a degree in applied music performance.
She is a member of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance Career Fair Committee and holds certifications in human resource management from HR Certification and Project Management institutes and in behavioral interviewing, personal assessment and cyber recruiting.
