At Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, exciting indoor galleries feature period artifacts, immersive environments, exhibits and films. Outdoors, experience living-history demonstrations and activities in life-size re-creations of a Paspahegh town, 1607 ships, colonial fort, Continental Army encampment and Revolution-era farm.

Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are open year-round 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; closed except Christmas and New Year’s days.

As many school districts begin the 2020-2021 school year with virtual or hybrid student learning, the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is extending its commitment to educators by offering new virtual learning experiences.
Virtual Teacher Workshops
Join educators from the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation for free 90-minute online professional development opportunities for teachers. Virginia educators may receive recertification points for participation.
Group Tours and Programs
Select from an array of fun and engaging tours and programs customized for a variety of ages, curriculum standards and special interests. These tours and programs are for groups of 15 or more. Student tours and programs are correlated to Virginia Standards of Learning, National Standards for History, National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies and Common Core.

Youth and Family Programs
Join in exciting history-based programs for children ages 4 and up. Scout programs involve youth in active learning as they tour the galleries and living-history sites to earn badges. Homeschool families can visit year-round with a special daily admission rate, plus an annual Homeschool Program Days for children of all ages.
Distance Learning
Immersive Learning Experience in your Classroom. No matter how far your classroom is from our museums, you can still participate in immersive learning adventures through our Interactive Video Conferencing program.

We are committed to helping teachers enhance classroom performance. Whether you are a teacher searching for your own professional development opportunity, planning an in-service training session in your school division or developing an in-depth teacher program, we have professional development options to meet your needs.
Adult Programs
