To show appreciation for our local community, the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation offers free admission to residents of James City County, York County and the City of Williamsburg, including William & Mary students, with proof of residency.

Bring proof of residency to the visitor services desks at each museum. Each guest must show their own personal proof of local residence. Examples include your valid Virginia driver’s license of paper or digital copies of current utility bills. If you are active military and your driver’s license is from the state of your home record, bring your military ID card and proof of local residence. William & Mary students must show a current student ID card.
As a local resident, your free admission includes general admission to Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, including daytime special events and special exhibitions. Separate ticketed programs do not qualify for free admission. Bring your friends and family to enjoy museum gallery exhibits and films, and shopping in the museum gift shops and dining in the café.
